Buzkashi Boys is a reminder that there is life in Afghanistan, and it’s not all about war and destruction. It follows the lives of two boys as they struggle to realize who they are and how to achieve their dreams.
“We woke up the next morning, and it was the biggest blizzard I’ve ever seen in my life. But we decided to do it anyway. We went to the field, and we shot the scene that turned out to be gorgeous, obviously because it’s snow coming down with these buzkashi riders.”
