Jimmy, a young war veteran, travels to and explores the magnificent wilds of New Zealand after the traumatic death of a friend (Miles) in combat. Just before he was killed, Miles shared with Jimmy his memories of visiting New Zealand as a child, his love for the young country, and his desire to go back after his tour of duty. Jimmy relives these last moments with his friend, reconnecting with Miles, as he experiences the wonders of New Zealand for himself.
